Bigger truths in smaller packages. To be read again and again. “The Dip” describes the most important concepts of life in a graphical manner.
Cul de Sac – The dead end. When you know what you’re doing is giving zero returns. It’s a monotony and no matter how hard you go at it, you’ll not grow. Better to quit gracefully and take up something which interests you.
The cliff curve – takes you to a higher state only to make you fall off the wagon pretty steep. It’s like smoking a cigarette, the more you smoke the more you want them and eventually it blasts your lungs. Over investing time and money only to wait till the market crashes and you are screwed.
The Dip – That rough phase in a job, in business, in a relationship…that’s a dip. It seems like a cul de sac when you are struggling in the dip at the lowest point on the curve, but the idea is to keep pushing, keep persevering because you have a purpose and a vision. The worst thing anyone would do is quit in the dip. You don’t start if you’re not willing to persevere the dip. Thanks Chad Howse for recommending.
