How does one change the course of life when you can’t see light at the end of the tunnel ?
1. Pick 6-8 weeks from the current date
2. Chalk out a program with a weekly or daily progression and weekly targets for these 6-8 weeks. This program can be based on mental health or physical health or both.
3. Eg. Writing down a meditation program which starts off at a 1 minute and gradually progresses by 10-30 sec each day. By the end of the 8th week you would’ve accomplished meditation for approx. 15 min which is quite a feat. Same with a physical exercise program. Chalk out a progressive resistance program or a long distance running program with daily minute progressions keeping you motivated to stay the course.
4. “Live” for these 6-8 weeks only. Brainwash yourself into believing that you have only these 6-8 weeks to live. This would mean giving 100% each and every day knowing that life would end soon and it’ll be a shame that you died without putting your best foot forward in the last project you worked on.
5. Watch your life mould those negative times into a more positive hard hitting energetic ones since you have been working to improve yourself daily with a purpose in sight. And this is all we need to be successful in life – a daily advancement towards a higher purpose.
