Ever felt tangled up in your mind – overthinking, making up negative scenarios, trying to search for solutions to problems?
The unconditioned human brain tends to possess these unhealthy characteristics. People usually feel locked in as slaves to their own brain leading to blocked in body, locked in expression and what not.
The idea is to jot down all that is going on in your head – start from somewhere, anywhere and write down all that comes to you one by one.
If you have an issue to resolve, write down that issue and write possible solutions to it. If you are overthinking because of something, write that thing down and assess the pros and cons, analyse whether the is helping you or not.
Write down your goals and dreams and what actions you are going to take to achieve all of that. This motivates you to go step by step and achieve your goals. And once you look back at your action plan after a year or so, you feel a sense of achievement.
Writing down your thoughts this way gives clarity as to what is happening and what actions are supposed to be taken. Because half the time the brain tends to go back to the past to recollect a particular experience and parallels it is encountering of work related stress coupled with negative emotions due to external criticism coupled with a locked in body-this is disaster !
Once you jot down the stuff, your brain is now free of that burden of going back and recollecting that thing. If you jot down solutions to it, your brain clears up more space, so on and so forth and hence leading a free mind. Now you know what was happening and what is supposed to be done – this is action plan, and you are now clear that action will set you free. This is going from the head brain to the body. And now there’s no tangling, no imprisonment. Your body moves to take action and in this process it opens up.
