Choose your travel partner wisely. Your nearest dearest ones might not necessarily be your best travel buddies.
Be clear in your intentions and way of travelling. Some people only like the idea of moving from one place to another for a short while just to show off on social media.
They are not aware of the grind and pain that comes along with frequent independent travel.
For that matter travelling independently or solo travel comes in the picture. And once you are on the solo path you will ditch most of your so called travel companions. Only the ones matching your true frequency and ideas will be worth taking along.
If your itineraries involve days of hiking with local homestays and your partner wants a 5* hotel everywhere you might as well cover those itineraries yourself.
Don’t hold yourself back and don’t blame your partner. Everybody is different and you must be clear in conveying your intentions to them.
Compromising on your plans will later make you blame and whine against your partner which is unhealthy.
